Keeping in view the latest trend in crude prices due to Russia Ukraine war, I strongly suggest the cost of fuel should not be brought down... It is necessary to help the consumers forcefully divert their attention towards Electric vehicles.  In such a situation obviously the tendency to purchase EV will increase which will help less pollution, less fuel imports, less forex drainage, more forex reserves, less fiscal deficit, more stronger Indian economy, stronger Ruppee... We must not politicize the fuel issue.... I pray government should not reduce prices even if the international crude prices crashes down.
