SHAME ON AUSTRALIAN CRICKET

I had posted this poem in my bigadda blog on 25^th March 2011.

I wrote this poem on the outcome of India- Australia Sydney Cricket Test match  in which Kumble was captain and Umpires had given 6 wrong decisions which resulted in India’s losing the match and in India and world over cricket lovers criticized the same.

Shame On Australian Cricket.

                                                                          

Shame, Shame Australian Cricket-

Have won the match with mind wicked.

Australian Cricket became, so cheap-

Memories that will make future weep.

Every Australian is to be blamed,

On every wrong decision they claimed.

Not one, two, three, but all Nine-

Australian Number one from bottom line.

Umpires becoming the biggest joke-

Several decisions went as if to mock.

Together we support Bhajji, let him sigh-

Return to India with your head held high.

Anil Kumble-on him we are so proud,

Leaving a Captains message -clear and loud.

Indian team proved worthy- one’s culture-

Australians still haunting like hungry vultures

Notwithstanding the outcome of the Tour,

Cricket let us save it being made a Whore.

Remind Ponting- he is representing a Nation,

In field-not spit and rub hands as his fashion.

Cricket, cricket only to play cricket we came,         

Kangaroos realize, stop snake- ladder game.

Every time we remember this Sydney game.

Team Australia will be remembered for the Biggest Shame.

Note: This poem was written after India’s historic win at Perth Test ,the very next test after the in- famous Sydney test where Australian had made a ugly game with 6 poor umpiring decision leading to India’s defeat. World over media and the experts condemn the umpiring and ICC also interfered to end the controversy. So the victory at Perth is very satisfying.

 Congrats India

Congratulation Team India, performance-so worth,
On fourth day victory –at Perth.
Nadir days of Sydney, keep apart-
Great team spirit helped Australian’s depart.
Reverie of any team came true
Australians are kept away even from Mew.
Truly both played this game in good spirit
Envisage Australians keep up same sportsman spirit.
Sydney is history let us forget it
Think of Perth, and enjoy most of it.
Ecstatic Indian came together to celebrate-
After victory- nation went happily vibrate.
Mark Waugh is happy- his record in tact
Indians came together- replied Sydney pact
New youth blood flooding Indian team,
Dawn is the days for complete redeem.
India all set to conquer the cricket world
Australian supremacy has ended- clearly told,
Forthcoming world cup is our dream-
Ogling at the same with confidence beam,
Reverie of world cup will be fulfilled for sure
Players decided from their hearts Core.
Every month hereafter comes and goes, with
Reverie of holding the cup by Dhoni, is our Dream
Together all the S & V’s Y’s and Z can do it as seen
Historic day the day to wish we all Indian’s are keen.
