Dear Sir,

After going the videos of the recent Ethiopian airline disaster, a few things came into my mind which I thought should pen down immediately with an intention, if it could contribute to improving the airline's safety standard under similar circumstances in future.

Before going to the details with regard to the recent airline crash, I would like to point out an important suggestion which could prove to be a great game changer if at all it is viable.  The aircrafts entire body must be built in two strong layers with a sufficient hollow in between in the form of a huge gap between two layers. Then, these hollow gap must be filled with the highly powerful fire extinguisher which human being can withstand for a few seconds during the crisis(Though oxygen masks are available).

The entire ceilings, as well as the ground part within the aircraft, must have numerous closed holes, which can be operated from the cockpit or automatically, which when activated to open could gush out the fire extinguisher with full thrust, thus engulfing the entire available atmosphere inside the aircraft in such a way that no spark could either ignite at all or it cannot withstand this anti fire compound thus, there will be no fire at all, or if at all ignition occurs it could not withstand the powerful fire extinguisher for more than 3 or 4 seconds.

Apart from the above, there must be some typical dress (like those fighter pilots who wear top to bottom single stiched ordain type) which passengers can wear and get it ballooned with air( it should be designed just like how airbags work in cars) or some other material as could be decided by the expert so that the injuries would be none or minimum. The only difference here is, in Cars, the airbags opens automatically during accidents, but in airlines, these special dresses must be individually worn by all passengers and the ballooning done automatically by means of some technic.

Another important step which every pilot could do if the crash is inevitable is to, empty the fuel tank to the last drop from the aircraft so that the explosion could be either avoided or minimized to a very good extent. The fuel tank must be designed in such a way that in case the situation demands it can be emptied in the flying condition.

One of the last suggestion is to place 20 or more heavy duty Parachutes on the top side of the aircraft (or on both top and bottom sides)with sufficient distance maintained between each other, embedded in the same way how wheels on the bottom of the aircraft which are operated safely every time. These parachutes can be opened during an emergency which could retard the speed of the fall to the minimum if not a safe landing.

Though I am not an engineer, after watching the video of the recent air crash, I could assume that if all the precautions as mentioned above were available and applied in ill-fated aircraft, the situation might have been highly different.
