1757 में हैदराबाद भाग्यनगर था और 1981 में भी भाग्यनगर नाम कहीं ना कहीं मिल जाता था!  वर्ष 1981 तक, "भाग्यनगर शहरी विकास प्राधिकरण" कहा जाता था ,किसने इसे भाग्यनगर से बदलकर "हैदराबाद" कर दिया?
