Jal kriya (Foot Soak) is the process through which the cleansing of the impurities that accumulate in our body and the "Chakras" by means of our coming in contact with strangers who may possess negativity in one form or another, from remaining in our body.
Every "Realized soul" has a natural affinity to absorb the negativities around them and it enters our body through various means like, the eyes we see, through our mind which thinks, through our skin which touches, through the air which surrounds us, etc.
So "Jal Kriya" on daily basis before dinner at night or after one hour of having dinner is very important. "Jal Kriya must not be done immediately after food. Immediately before dinner can be done or minimum after one hour of dinner, the best is just before going to bed.
