Fourth one is the most important for all of us is to know that there is a nadi which passes through left Visshuddhi into the heart. Starts from the heart, goes up, passes through Agnya. It has four petals, opens up. This is the one which gives you the state which is called as 'thurya'.”….

जब आत्मा मे दृष्टि होती जाएगी तो आप कहेगें कि हर चीज मे मै हूं,मेरे से ही सारी सृष्टि स्पन्दित है मेरे से ही सारी सृष्टि का निर्माण हुआ है,ये असलियत है , ये वास्तविकता है ,अंहकार नहीं है लेकिन इसको पाने के लिए हमे सबसे पहले हमारा झूठा मै जो है उसे छोड़ना है " मै हूं फलाने नाम वाली, मेरा ये घर,मेरी ये पोजीशन ,मै साड़ी,मै कपड़े,सब कुछ मै हूं इस तरह सारी जिन्दगी इसी मे बिता देते हैं सोचना चाहिए बैठकर कि सारी जिन्दगी मैने क्या किया ,क्या इसी लिए मेरा जन्म हुआ ,अपना सारा समय कहाँ बर्बाद किया फिर ये सारा समय आने वाला नही है !

A spiritual person is just innocent. There is no intelligence, nothing, just innocence. The whole thing is innocence. Whatever he says comes through innocence. It does not have intellect as such, which you people have through reading and through understanding and by analyzing, nothing of the kind. It just has pure and simple innocence and it works out very well. It is so clean and just says what it knows. And what it knows is the highest. So this deconditioning has to be brought within us, but you should not discuss it among yourself also. 

Once you start discussing, then it becomes a sort of a theological argumentation. There is no theology about it. It is very simple. The simplest thing is to be innocent, but the innocence is lost because our attention is in a different way. We are attentive to other things. We are looking at other things. It is so simple.

 " As Shri Krishna has said the Tree of Awareness grows upside- down, that the roots are in the brain and the branches grow downward. Those who have gone towards materialism have grown downward. Those who have gone towards Divine have grown upwards, towards roots. The main root, as they call the taproot, the main root is innocence, is Shri Ganesha. And He becomes Mahaganesha in Ganapatipule. Here He is surrounded by the Father principle, the Guru principle of the sea, the ocean - the Indian Ocean. That is , here He becomes a Guru.

But you mature, you become Mahaganesha. Then Maha ganesha is established in you and you become a satguru, you become a Divine Guru, you can teach others.

So maturity is the indication. Here, as we see in Ganapatipule, Shri Ganesha is in its complete, matured form so that we develop also our Mahaganesha within ourselves, and our eyes become pure, powerful and Devine. With proper working out, I am sure we can establish that state within ourselves. "

"आत्मा से सम्बन्ध होने के बाद, हमको उसमे तादात्म पाना होता है. माने ये की मैंने आपको जाना. ठीक है. मैंने आपको पहचाना, लेकिन मै आप नहीं हो गयी हूँ.  आपको मै देख रही हूँ और आप मुझे देख रहे है. जिस वक्त मै आपको दृष्टी से देख सकू, उसी वक़्त तादात्म  होता है. आत्मा के अंदर प्रवेश कर के, वहां से जब आप सरे संसार पे दृष्टी डालते है, तब कहना चाहिए की आत्मसाक्षात्कार पूर्ण था सम्पन्न हुआ.  कुंडलिनी की जागरण, उत्त्थापन, सब कुछ हो गया, सहस्त्रार छूट गया, चलो पार हो गए, चक्रो के द्वारा आप अपनी स्तिथि और दूसरों की स्तिथि को भी अच्छी तरह पहचानने लगे, उसकी जानकारी भी होने लगी, लेकिन अभी आत्मा के साथ तदाकार नहीं हुए.  आत्मा से तदाकार होने के लिए, सब से पहले मै नहीं हूँ, मै नहीं हूँ, तू ही तू है.  पहले आत्मा को मानना चाहिए की तू ही तू है, मै नहीं हूँ"

‘Bhoot’ is a Sanskrit word to indicate ‘beings’ in general, derived from ‘bhu’: the elements; and from that term the meaning shifted to ‘creatures’ and ‘entities’. It indicates a possession by an evil spirit/entity.

‘Badha’ means: perturbation, disturbance, hindrance, pain, suffering, injury ... caused by an evil entity/spirit. Maybe all obstructions that prevent us from feeling the vibrations might be called badhas.

                           But the greatest badha is probably fear. When we don’t have fear, they can’t reach us. As long as we have catches there will be badhas.

“The obstructions which come your way not to feel, we call them as badha. Obstructions are called as badha: means by which you cannot feel them fully. Maybe the instrument is not alright, maybe there is something wrong. But the feeling that you get of these vibrations are not clear-cut in your mind and there is a vikalpa. ‘Vikalpa’ means doubt. The doubt is there because your feelings are not quite clear cut. There is a vicious circle on this point. Even when you do get your vibrations, then doubt comes in, because your feelings are not yet all right.”

"सहज परिवार से बाहर जाने का कारण"

         "........आपको मालूम होना चाहिये कि आप एक ही परिवार के सदस्य हैं। किसी को भी युद्ध नहीं करना है, किसी को भी एक दूसरे से महान नहीं बनना है, किसी को भी दूसरे में सुधार लाने की आवश्यकता नहीं है, किसी को भी यह नहीं कहना है कि मैं कुछ अनोखा ही व्यक्ति हूं। आप सबको एक साथ मिलकर कार्य करना है और साथ में कार्य करते हुये प्रेम व मित्रता से समस्याओं का समाधान ढूंढ निकालना है।  कोई भी जो स्वयं को अन्य लोगों से अलग कर कुछ और ही बनने का प्रयास करता है वह बाहर (सहज से) चला जाता है और सहज के लिये वह व्यक्ति एकदम किसी काम का नहीं है। …. इस तरह का व्यक्ति एकदम बेकार है… जो सहज परिवार से बाहर जाने का प्रयास करता है। आप सबको एक दूसरे का साथ देना है, एक दूसरे की सहायता करनी है, किसी पर चिल्लाना नहीं है और एक दूसरे पर क्रोध भी नहीं करना है…. एक दूसरे पर भरोसा रखना है, उनके दोष नहीं देखने हैं और एक दूसरे को आदर, सम्मान से देखना है।  

यह अत्यंत महत्वपूर्ण चीज है कि सहजयोगी ये नहीं समझते हैं कि आप सब संत है और आपको सबका सम्मान करना है। उदाहरण के लिये आपको किसी पर भी संदेह नहीं करना है … बिल्कुल नहीं … सहज में इसकी बिल्कुल भी आज्ञा नहीं है और यह बात बिल्कुल निषिद्ध है। सावधान रहें…. मैं तो ये भी कहूंगी कि यदि कोई आपके गाल पर थप्पड़ मारे तो आप दूसरा गाल आगे कर दीजिये।*  सहजयोग में आपको ऐसा ही करना है… किसी की आलोचना नहीं करनी है, किसी को नीचा नहीं दिखाना है। आप सब संत हैं…. आप यह बात क्यों नहीं समझते हैं ? आप परमात्मा के बंदे है… क्या आप ये बात जानते हैं ? आप किस प्रकार से यह कह सकते हैं कि ये अच्छे हैं और ये बुरे ? यदि आप ये करना प्रारंभ करते हैं तो कोई अन्य इसका फायदा उठा लेगा और आपको नीचे गिरा देगा और आप परेशानी में पड़ जायेंगे। इस प्रकार के बेकार विचार अपने मन में न लांये कि आप दूसरों से अच्छे हैं और आप उनसे अच्छे हैं। जो कोई भी दूसरों से अच्छा कार्य करना प्रारंभ करता है वह अपनी सबसे बड़ी हानि करता है। 

सहज में कोई प्रतिस्पर्धा नहीं है। प्रतिस्पर्धा के विचार को त्याग दीजिये। आप सब भाई बहन हैं …. आपको एक दूसरे का साथ देना है… सहायता करनी है। यदि किसी का पतन हो रहा है तो इसके लिये कार्य करें। यदि आप किसी का पतन होते हुये देखें उसकी शू-बीटिंग करें। लेकिन जो भी यह सोचता है कि वह बहुत महान है या उसमें ये विशेषता है या वह विशेषता है (अस्पष्ट) या मान लीजिये कोई समझता है कि वह अत्यंत स्वच्छता पसंद व्यक्ति है तो उसे तो किसी पेड़ से लटक जाना चाहिये … कई बार मैं ऐसा ही सोचती हूं क्योंकि इस बिंदु पर कई प्रकार के लड़ाई झगड़े चल रहे हैं। लेकिन यदि कोई समझता है कि उसको मैले कुचैले रहने का अधिकार मिला है तो उसे भी किसी नजदीक के पेड़ पर जाकर लटक जाना चाहिये और जानना चाहिये कि (अस्पष्ट)। आपको एक दूसरे का सम्मान करना है। यदि आपके बीच आपसी आदर सम्मान नहीं है तो आपके लिये ये भाई या बहन का संबंध बिल्कुल बेकार है।  यह बहुत ही मधुर संबंध है जिसका दुर्भाग्यवश आपने अभी आनंद नहीं उठाया है लेकिन भारत में यह अभी बाकी है। यहां हमारे भाई हमारे लिये अपनी जान दे देंगे और हमारी बहने भाइयों के लिये अपनी जान दे देंगी। हमारे भाइयों को हम पर इतना विश्वास है कि यदि हम उनको कह दें कि तुम ये कार्य न करो तो वो जानते हैं कि ऐसा हम उनकी भलाई के लिये और "प्रेमवश"  ही कह रहे हैं न कि उनको उपदेश देने के लिये या उनको अपनी महानता दर्शाने के लिये। प्रेम को स्थापित किया जाना चाहिये और यदि ये नहीं स्थापित हो सका है तो फिर हम किस चीज का दिखावा करने का प्रयास कर रहे हैं।

#Speak the truth. Don’t tell the lies. If you go on telling lies, after some time even if you tell the truth, it will become a lie. But if you are telling the truth, that, even if you tell a lie, it becomes a truth.

Now, some people think that they can be cunning, by their talks, they can cheat people, but actually, they are cheating themselves.

 All such people who cheat others by sweet talks, by artificial talks, or by some manoeuvring, go to such a horrible state, and in this Kali Yuga, especially, they are cursed and they get exposed and people know about them, that these are the greatest liars ever known. 

Now the times are coming when all such people will be exposed very much more than they have been ever exposed. 

So be careful, not to think that you can cheat. In Sahaja Yoga, especially, you cannot cheat. Those who try to cheat sometimes think that, 

“We can befool Mother, we can somehow or other carry on. If we sit in front of Mother, She won’t know what we are up to.” It’s not so. I may not say, I may use my discretion not to say. I may allow you to have a long way. But be careful, do not come into my illusions. I’m very elusive, and when I play my illusions, you will suddenly find yourself in a very difficult situation..."

"कलियुग में प्यार का इतना महत्व तो किसी ने नहीं देखा होगा" 
          " आज लोगों का ये प्यार देखकर के मेरा हृदय भर आया है और ये सोचकर कि प्यार कितनी बड़ी शक्ति है, इससे लोग इतने आकर्षित होते हैं और आनंदित होते हैं।ये बड़े आश्चर्य की बात है! इस कलियुग में प्यार का महात्म्य इतना तो किसी ने नहीं देखा होगा।मैं सोचती हूं कि इसको देखकर के आप सभी लोग अपना प्यार बढ़ाना सीखें।यह बहुत आसान है।वो इस प्रकार कि आप ध्यान करें , सुबह-शाम तो आप के अन्दर के जो बुरे बिचार हैं जिससे आप ईर्ष्या करते हैं और क्रोधित होते हैं और छोटी-छोटी बात पर बुरा मान जातें हैं, ऐसे सारे बिचार खत्म हो जायेंगें। उसके बाद बचता है सिर्फ निर्मल प्रेम। इस प्रेम से आप सारे संसार को एक नया जीवन दे सकते हैं।"

                   "विनम्रता" जिस में नहीं, वह सहजयोगी नहीं

"...........विनम्रता सहजयोगी की एक कसौटी है। जिस व्यक्ति में विनम्रता नहीं है, उसे सहजयोगी नहीं कह सकते। मैंने देखा है कि सहजयोगी भी बहुत गुस्सा करते हैं, कभी तो चिल्लाना शुरू कर देते हैं व बुरा व्यवहार करने लगते हैं। यही चिन्ह है कि वे अभी तक सहजयोगी नहीं बने हैं, उन्हें अभी और परिपक्व होना है। तो मैं कहूँगी कि यह विनम्रता आपको अधिक स्थिर व स्थायी स्थिति प्रदान करती है, जिससे आप प्रतिक्रिया नहीं करते हैं । आप किसी भी वस्तु को देखते हैं और प्रतिक्रिया करते हैं, किन्तु फिर आप प्रतिक्रिया नहीं करते, सिर्फ देखते हैं  और इसी तरह साक्षी अवस्था आपके अन्दर आती है ।
..........जब आप साक्षी बन जाते हैं  तो आप सिर्फ देखते हैं, उसके बारे में कोई प्रतिक्रिया अथवा विचार नहीं करते । पर आप वर्तमान में रहते हैं और वर्तमान में आप सिर्फ देखते हैं और आनंद लेते हैं। इस प्रकृति की रचना का आनंद आपके दिमाग में सोचने से नहीं आता, पर जब आप कुछ नहीं सोचते तब इस प्रकृति की सुंदरता का आनंद आपके अंदर से प्रतिबिंबित होता है, और आपको आनंद व शांति देता है ।"

सहजयोग में उन्नति के लक्षण

     "यदि आप सभी तथाकथित कठिनाइयों में आनंद लेना जानते है, तब आपको समझना चाहिए कि आप ठीक रास्ते पर है। स्वतः ही जैसे आप विवेकशील होने लगते है तब आपको समझ लेना चाहिए कि आप ठीक रास्ते पर है। किसी भी व्यक्ति को अपने पर आक्रमण करते देखकर यदि आप आधिक शांत हो जाते है और आपका क्रोध उड़न छू हो जाता है, तब आपको समझना चाहिए कि आप ठीक प्रकार से उन्नत हो रहे है। आपके व्यक्तित्व पर अचानक यदि कोई विप्पति या अग्निपरीक्षा आ पड़े, फिर भी आपको उस की चिंता न सताये, तब समझ ले कि आप उन्नत हो रहे है। ऊँचे से ऊँचे स्तर की बनावट भी यदि आपको प्रभावित न कर पाये तो समझ लें कि आप उन्नत हो रहे है।दूसरे लोगों की ज्यादा से ज्यादा भौतिक समृद्धि भी यदि आपके दुःख का कारण नही बनती, आपको अप्रसन्न नहीं करती तब आपको समझना चाहिए कि आपकी ठीक प्रकार से उन्नति हो रही है। *सहजयोगी बनने के लिए अधिक से अधिक परिश्रम और तकलीफे भी पर्याप्त नही है। लोग जो चाहे आजमायें परन्तु सहजयोगी नही बन सकते, परन्तु आप लोगों को तो यह बिना किसी प्रयत्न के प्राप्त हो गया है।

      ......अतः आप कुछ विशेष है। एक बार जब आप समझ जायेंगे कि आप विशेष है तो आप इसके प्रति विनम्र हो जायेंगे। जब आपमें ये घटित हो जाता है और ये देखकर आप विनम्र हो जाते है कि आपने कुछ प्राप्त कर लिया है, कि आपमें कुछ शक्तिया है, कि आप अबोधिता प्रसारित कर रहे है, कि आप विवेकशील है और उस विवेक के परिणाम स्वरूप जब आप अधिक करुणामय, अधिक विनम्र व्यक्तित्व, मधुर व्यक्तित्व बन जाते है तब आपको विश्वास करना चाहिए कि आप अपनी माँ (श्रीमाताजी) के हृदय में है। इस नये चरण में, यह नये सहजयोगी के लक्षण है जिसे नयी शक्ति के साथ चलना है।इसमें आप इतनी तेजी से उन्नत होंगे, मेरी उपस्थिति के बिना आप मेरे साक्षात में होंगे, अपने पिता (परमात्मा) से बिना कुछ माँगे आप आशीर्वादित हो जायेंगे। इसी कार्य के लिए आप यहा पर है।"

"Complete control of yourself"

So rise now; you must rise above your petty, small mind. Rise up to the point where you should know you are going to save the whole of humanity. If you cannot feel that, it’s better to leave Sahaja Yoga. Sahaja Yoga is not meant for people who are lousy. In Marathi, the word is 'gabare'. Tukaram has said, "yerya gabalyache kam nahi "– “It is not the work of the lousy.” ...

When you rise above all these petty things you will develop that divine discretion. That divine discretion is the real blessing of God. All other blessings that you think is a blessing are no blessing at all. Unless and until you can grow, what is the blessing? Like a tree which says, “Oh, it's such a blessing that I have got rain.” But out of that rain if you cannot grow, what is the use of having that rain on you? You have to be compassionate, beautiful, sensible people who are highest beings on this earth. Take out your attention from all nonsense that you have been busy with. That’s how you get possessed, that’s how you get conditioned; small, small things, you see. ...

Today is the beginning of a new era; of a new era of people of very high qualities, whose spirit has been enlightened. Let’s all think about it. Now you have to rule yourself, and you have to rule others through compassion, love and discretion. Today that’s the big time that I have declared that it is the universal religion, the Nirmala religion which is formed out of my teachings of love. ...

So now have respect for yourself. Raise your heads. You are the ones who are going to fight. You are the ones who are responsible. Prepare yourself, prepare your body, prepare your mind, be discreet. This is my, I would not say "request" again, this is my order. May God bless you. ...

Respect yourself, respect. May God bless you all. There’s nothing, nothing more important to Me than to see you rise to that level of understanding of your own values and worth, and discretion. You have to become sweet, nice people but very, very powerful, that you can control yourself, your tongues and your things; your control, complete control of yourself. May God bless you again.

अहंकार ऐसी चीज है कि उसमें आदमी जो भी करता है;उसमें वह बेवकूफी देख ही नहीं सकता;या कुछ भी करता हो तो बिल्कुल ही सही;क्योंकि उसमें उसका अहंकार तृप्त होता है।ईगो ओरिएंटेड आदमी को तब तक कोई तकलीफ नहीं होगी कि जब तक उसको हार्ट ट्रबल ना आ जाए...अगर आप किसी egoistic आदमी के सामने जाइए तो उसका  ईगो आपके अंदर भी घुस जाएगा। वह जितने गधे हैं,उसके आप डबल गधे हो जाएंगे।.........डेवलपमेंट करना है;तो गांधीजी के रास्ते बहुत अच्छे बने हुए हैं, उनके रास्ते पर चलो*।(रजोगुण-1978-0131)


Many people come and say that we have surrendered everything to God.

However, it is usually just vocal and very far from the truth. Surrender is not merely a vocal expression. To attain Nirvicharita which means the complete absence of thought we must undergo complete surrender. 

When your thought process stops when you come into the centre. Being in the centre makes you Nirvichar which, consequently, makes you one with God. And when this happens, He takes all your burdens upon Himself, He takes care of even your smallest needs. It is surprising. But try it and you will see that it is true and your earlier path was indeed wrong. Once you reach this state you will indeed start getting all the inspirations, powers and riches that you desire. Every thought that comes in your mind in the state of ‘Nirvicharita’ is actually an Inspiration in itself. 

Anything that you so much as desire will be brought to you on a silver plate. You may get up to give a lecture and even though you may never have given one, all you would have to do is to enter the ‘Nirvichar’ state; And when you finish you yourself will be surprised by the response of the spellbound audience! People will feel awed by the sudden outburst of extraordinary knowledge that you display. The deeper you go into ‘Nirvicharita’, the more convinced you will become that everything is actually coming from this state and not from your mind!!

".......चक्रों की पकड़ को हम सब बाधा कहते है। बाधा हमारे अन्दर के दोष से बनती है। भूत हमारे मन में प्रवेश करते है। हमें अपना गुलाम बनाते है । यह हो सकता है यह कार्य बहुत जल्द गति से होता है व्यक्ति का चित्त सिर्फ अपवित्रता (स्त्री या पुरुष को बुरी नजर से जानबुझकर देखना या गलती से देखना, व्यर्थ की बाते करना, दूसरों को दोष देना,खुद को बड़ा समझना) में जाते ही उसका अपनी आत्मा से नियंत्रण टूट जाता है जेसे मनुष्य जब तक किसी बुरी चीज को अपने पावन मस्तिष्क से स्वीकार नही करता तब तक वो भूतों से सुरक्षित है। लेकिन भूतों से बचना चाहिए। हर समय खुद को बंधन में रखे। जो व्यक्ति भूत बाधित होता है वो आदिशक्ति के सेंटर में थोड़ी देर भी शांति से बैठ नही सकता। वो निर्विचार नही हो सकता। उसे सेंटर में ही एकदम से नींद आयेगी। उसके सभी चक्र फिर से सुप्त अवस्था में चले जाते है। उसे बहुत नींद आती है, या बहुत ही कम नींद आती है। और नींद में ही वो सेंटर हार्ट (मध्य ह्रदय) कमजोर होने के कारण बहुत डर जाता है। जो व्यक्ति कहता है मुझे यह चीज पसंद है या पसंद नहीं है वो भौतिक चीज के भूतों का गुलाम बन जाता है। पसंद ना पसंद को त्याग दिए जाने चाहिए। कोई व्यक्ति कहता है मुझे यह स्त्री या पुरुष बहुत पसंद है मैं उससे बहुत प्यार करता हूँ या करती हूँ। यह सोच भूतों की है, और जिसे वो प्यार करता है, वो व्यक्ति भी भूतग्रस्त होती है। दो प्यार करने वाले व्यक्ति कभी अच्छे सहजी नहीं बन सकते वो पूरी तरह अपने ही मोह में फंसते जाते है। और सहजयोग के विरुध्द दिशा में चले जाते है। किसी पर क्रोध करना यह भूतों का कार्य है। पावन आत्मा कभी दूसरों पर क्रोध नही करती। किसी से ज्यादा Attachment (सम्बध्दता) रखना, किसी व्यक्ति के प्रति आकर्षण होना, यह भी भूत का लक्षण है। किसी चीज से चिपके रहना ठीक नही। आप अपने चित्त को माँ के प्रति समर्पित रखे, मर्यादा में रहे। अत्यंत विनम्रता से एक दुसरे से बात करे। कम बातचीत करे। निर्विचार अवस्था में रहे। माँ ही कर्ता कर्विता है हम सिर्फ माध्यम है यह याद रखे। हर समय चित्त को परमात्मा की और बनाये रखे। ज्यादा से ज्यादा चैतन्य लहरी पर चित्त रखे। रोज सुबह 4 बजे माँ का ध्यान करे। गणेशजी को हमेशा प्रसन्न रखे।"

*_SUBTLE ASPECTS OF WATER_*

Then comes the Water. We are also made of water. What is the subtle of water is… sometimes English language, you know, becomes little short of expressions… but they call it…I mean which makes the skin, hard skin soft. 

The skin becomes soft. This is another sign of a realized soul that his… there is some cream they use, isn’t it, to soften the face. But this is the water in us, gives us that lustre, that nourishment to make our skin very soft and that softness of the skin becomes very visible. 

This is the minimum of minimum, I would say. But then a person who is a realized soul becomes a very soft person, very delicate. When he talks to some body, in his voice there is warmth or I should say there is… [Shri Mataji speaks in Hindi]… to have that flow, watery flow and coolness of the water. 

So that is another subtle thing that should be expressed in your behaviour, on your skin, on your dealings with others, that you should be like the water, which is mobile, which is cooling, which is soothing, which is cleansing. So this also becomes a part and parcel of your being, once you become a realized soul...

For example, the water which you touch, water you drink, whatever you put your hand in the water, the water becomes vibrated. Means What? The subtleties of the water come in it, the coolness, curing power also comes in that water. So when it becomes subtler, all these powers start showing which you can see for yourself.

_Many Blessings_

Received your loving letter. I have also very much enjoyed Navaratri Puja.

But Puja is also an external offering. Even your heart has said so.

But you should understand how you get the reward or blessings of the Puja and its prasad. A Puja or a prayer grows from your heart. Mantras are the words of your Kundalini. But if Puja is not performed from the heart or if Kundalini is not associated with the recitation of Mantras then that Puja becomes a ritual.

If you become thoughtless in Puja, know that your heart is also involved in it. Collect the Puja material and offer it sincerely. There should be no formality or bindings in the offerings. It is correct to wash hands, but is your heart washed?

When attention is on heart it does not go to others. Although you remain quiet from outside, you are speaking from within. Hence you should not be silent for a long time. If a man’s heart is not clean, then the silence becomes very harmful. At the same time, loose talks can bring catastrophes.

You should say the Mantras in Puja but with great faith (Shraddha). There is no alternative to Shraddha. You should perform the Puja when Shraddha grows deep, so that heart itself gets all Puja performed. At that time waves of bliss start flowing because it is the Spirit that is saying, how can any thought come at that time?

People pour their wine in the glass. Your Puja is like that. In that, wine is your faith and the glass is the recitation of Mantras and the worshipping. When you are drinking that wine forgetting everything, how can a thought come! Then only bathing in the ocean of bliss! How can that joy be expressed in thoughts? Who will pour that wine, back in the glass, which is to be drunk and that too in the inferior glass of thoughts? However, the joy that you get after drinking the wine is eternal and ever-present. It becomes your asset.

Many such Pujas have been performed in my presence. Every time a big wave comes and take you to a new land. Experiences of many such lands become your own. They give vastness to personality and open new gates of joy. Best is worshipping in the heart. If the photo by looking at it, can be placed in the heart or, after the Puja, its view goes to the heart, then the joy which you get only at that time, can become everlasting and ever-present.

Then the second discipline, is you have to learn how to be a Sahaja Yogi. Think of Christ, if He is sitting here, how would He behave towards Me or He would behave towards others who are here. Very difficult for Him to accept all, any kind of nonsense from anyone. He would not tolerate. I don’t mind many things, I say, “All right. Gradually it will be solved. Things will be all right.” But what I find, that still there are so many Sahaja Yogis who don’t really realize the responsibility that they have. He carried the cross. In Sahaja Yoga, you don’t have to carry the Cross.

You have to wear only garlands, but you must be worthy of garlands. Nobody has to suffer. Everything is made very well for them, paved with gold as they say, but the only thing you should know, how to walk on them. So the second point, as I said, that you should not have a double personality. Single dedication. You need not to be twenty-four hours in it, you have your own families, your own children, you have owned your life.

With that, you have to be all the time connected, but not to get so much involved, that you harm the collectivity of Sahaja Yoga. Your relations – brothers, sisters, mother, father, they’re all right, but your main responsibility is Sahaja Yoga. Instead of that, you get involved in these things, you will definitely harm the collectivity of Sahaja Yoga and create a politics out of it.

The second discipline is that your relationship is only with Sahaja Yogis and with nobody else. This is very important. This is what I have to tell you very clearly that nobody is important but Sahaja Yogis. Of course, you have to meet others, you have to talk to others, you have to deal with them, you have to bring them to Sahaja Yoga, that is there, no doubt. But, you cannot let down a Sahaja Yogi.

 Among yourself, if you have differences, sort them out and when you are outside, then you should appear as one. If you know the truth, there should be no differences. Why should there be differences? If there are differences, then you should find out that something is wrong with you, definitely, and what is, is wrong is, that you are self-centred or you’re worried about something, which is, which is not Sahaja.

Even to follow my example may be difficult. Now I have My children and My grandchildren, I never telephone them, never. As it is, I never telephone to them. I am never bothered. I see my husband so much worried about them, always telephones them. I never. Firstly, I know they are all right. Firstly, I know I’ve done my duty, and I’m not going to waste My life only on My children or on My husband or My family because My family is the whole universe.

So you have to expand. Sahaja Yogis have to expand themselves. If they’re just interested in their own family, in their own children, in their own properties, is going to be difficult. So this self-centeredness has to go. This self-centeredness has to go completely and you have to have a very wider vision of life. This is a very big compulsion for us, as Sahaja Yogis that we belong to the family of the universe. So, just like in the marriages now.

We started saying, “I don’t like, I don’t want to marry an Indian.” Some Indians say, “I don’t want to marry a foreigner.” If you are so small-minded, you should not ask for marriage. You should not ask me that I should marry you because we have to transcend completely, all these petty ideas about our own religion, about our own race, about our own country. If you cannot do it, you are not a Sahaja Yogi. From your heart, you must expand. That is very important. Thus, the problem in India is of, say, caste system, which is – I can’t understand. I’ve told hundred times that in the Gita, it’s described that in everybody resides the spirit.

So how can you have caste? But you can have according to your aptitude, that’s different. But you cannot have caste according to birth. There are so many examples to prove that, but in India, we have this curse of the caste system and in the West, is even worse, is the racialism. It is such a horrible thing called racialism. For example, I went to Romania and I saw so many Gypsies there. They’re treated just like dogs. So low they were looked upon.

These Gypsies are really nice people, nothing wrong with them. At least their character is good. They have a certain principle for their women and they lead a good life of morality. They are collective people, but they are treated so badly, so shabbily, that even in India, I won’t find that kind of a thing happening.

Racialism. Now, Romanians have no particular race, as such. You cannot say they are Germans or English or Anglo-Saxons, nothing. I was surprised there more than anywhere else. Also in England, the same thing. They are treated very badly and these are people of great art and very loving. And I was surprised that so many came to our program also. So the attention should be on a wider vision of life and towards the people who are suffering, is very important.

You must look after the people who are suffering, who are in trouble, who need your help, not to make friends with people who will help you in money or in any other way but be friendly with the people who are downtrodden. We have become Sahaja Yogis to help them to come up. We have to do something for them and in Vashi, I’m starting a centre where the poor people will be treated free.

 Though we are in the middle, we have to help the people who are not enjoying any benefit of life. We have to take them to Sahaja Yoga, We have to help them in every way that is possible. Now, you must have noticed that in the wedding lists, what I have done is to create a balance between, say, the developing countries and the developed countries, to make a proper exchange. Then I find there are people who are very arrogant about it.

Now, English girls are supposed to be Christians, French girls are supposed to be Christians and so many others. Christ, who did so much for the downtrodden, these people, when they get married, they try to show off and look down upon people, they are Sahaja Yogis and now we have turned down all the Christian girls from England because for the same reason.

A funny type of a superiority complex if you develop, that’s not being Christian at all. And that’s why we have to understand, as Sahaja Yogis, that one of the principles of Sahaja Yoga is that you should get over all these minor things and all these limitations from which we have been suffering and others have been suffering.

When we come to this collective happening, we have to understand that people have to be collective.
Because we should have big palaces where we can go and meditate or should we have huge things? Not necessary. To pray and to meditate, any place is all right.

Anywhere you are there, you can enjoy, you should enjoy there. You should not demand things. Like when you come to Ganapatipule, I know it’s not very comfortable. It’s not even a three-star hotel arrangement, but you enjoy each other and you love each other, and the company of every one of you is the comfort giving.

What gives you comfort is the love, affection, oneness, the unity between yourself. Then you don’t care, you don’t care what comforts you have, what happiness you have. This time, suddenly, you know, there were 250 more came than expected, so we had to put them, these temporary things for you and you didn’t mind. I am very thankful to you for that.

So complete tolerance and comfort of the body is not important – the comfort of the spirit. If your body wants comfort, you try to make it learn to give up that. Try to make your body your slave and not you the slave of the body. This if you don’t try, then in Sahaja Yoga, you are nowhere because then you will again say, “I must have a beautiful car, then must I have a house, then I must have this, must have that.” If you care for your body too much, then the spirit, the light of the spirit goes down.

 There’s no glow on your face and there’s no peace in your mind because, all the time, you’re worried about your body, about your comforts, about your food, about this, about that. You can leave all these things to the Divine.

What you have to do to see yourself, that in your behaviour, you should be honest, you should be spiritual and you should be surrendering. That’s your job. You have to see, “Am I surrendering or not? Am I fully with Sahaja Yoga or not? What have I done for Sahaja Yoga?

What I should do for Sahaja Yoga?” If you don’t do this way, the mind will work the other way round. It will start thinking, “Oh, this is not good for my child. That’s not good. This is this.” Once you start thinking what have I to do for Sahaja Yoga? What have I to work out for Sahaja Yoga? How I have to spread Sahaja Yoga? you’ll be surprised your mind will get into the aura of spirituality and nobody has to tell you anything, it will just work automatically. You have the power, you have everything, you have the fountain, which has to be opened out.
