Digvijay Singh Culprit of MP Congress

Digvijay Singh is the reason for feuds and factionalism in MP Congress. There can't be a better example of how a personal dislike can bring down a whole government. Digvijay Singh's, a few statements reiterating his old history how he during "Jan Sangh's time when he was provided with attractive offers to leave Congress and join" Jan Sangh", but even then he continued in Congress.... bla bla bla....." in his attempt towards trying to prove his loyalty to Congress says it loud and clear that Digvijay is facing the music of severe blame by local MPCC officials as well as high command over the unexpected turn of developments in MP politics which was only due to needless adamant stand taken by him against Scindia dynasty.

Going back to the year 2018. It was the time of Vidhan Sabha elections in Madhya Pradesh and the Congress unit there was at "sixes and sevens" due to in-fighting. Both Jyotiraditya Scindia and Kamal Nath factions were adamant to see their respective leader as CM and they made their intentions clear to the High-Command through street protests as well as through all other possible efforts including both the leaders themselves. 

Everybody expected Jyotiraditya Scindia to lead Congress in MP as he was a close aide of Rahul Gandhi as well an appealing young face. So, it took most of the people by surprise when Gandhi went with Kamal Nath that too when Scindia is very close to Rahul for so many reasons apart from the reason that they are from more or less same age group and also has the tag of next top young leader after Rahul along with Sachin Pilot.

Adding fuel to the fire, earlier this year, Madhya Pradesh Congress was supposed to choose its new MPCC head. Scindia again appealed for the post and it was yet again rejected. Kamal Nath is not just the CM but also the party chief in MP. The reason due to which Scindia was made not acceptable to all factions is due to the 'moves'  designed by Digvijay Singh, Digvijay Singh’s vehement opposition has left the deserving claimant Scindia failing to get the opportunity to serve in MP state congress’ most powerful post. This further aggravated Scindia’s wounds.

The last nail in this coffin was regarding the RajyaSabha nominations. Singh’s intervention also culled Scindia’s chances of winning a RajyaSabha seat from the state. Singh and Nath, who are supposed to be rivals teamed up and ensured that Scindia is side-lined at the party.

The reason behind the same is no a secret, It was Digvijay Singh’s dislike with Scindia due to the rivalry dating back to the two erstwhile royal families of Gwalior and Raghogarh, the families to Which Mr Scindia and Mr Singh belong to.

Well, it is clear that Congress Party is indeed getting the bitter taste of the Karma of Digvijay Singh compulsions and Kamalnath's succumbing to the pressure every time. But, nothing to worry for Digvijay Singh, as no harm will occur to him or to his position in Congress today as he still qualifies the prime and biggest qualification that is necessary to remain there... is his "loyalty to Gandhi Nehru Family".
