Review Children's day An appeal
The above video is of a group of students interacting with Mr. APJ Abdul Kalam (answering ... Knowledge, and courage)
APJ Abdul Kalam Sir interacting with students in mass numbers helping and guiding them with some wisdom.
If you agree with my above views, then you may never disagree that, we, as parents or as guardians of our children must shoulder the responsibility to choose the right person for "Children's day" on whose name children can be proud of, in whom children can see their ideal hero, whom they can try to follow, try to edify, try to get inspired from, try to imitate.
I see so many reasons, which can be an inspiration and motivational factors for various sections of our society but definitely not Children. Yes, unfortunately, I don't see any qualities in Mr. Nehru, which can be a reason for the children may get attracted to, or inspired to. Kindly let us, in the interest of our children's future (as well as nations' future) evaluate if it is really necessary or can be continued with Mr. Jawaharlal Nehru as a personality for the "Children's day.
My evaluation is as follows.
It is believed that the character of Mr. Nehru is not something to be proud of due to the well-known history which speaks about his affairs with different ladies including British leading ladies.
There are no single incidents from the life of "Mr. Nehru" which could inspire children.
There is no single incident which parents could boast of the leader and can narrate their children about "Mr. Nehru"

He is a person who regularly consumed alcohol, which as per the Indian tradition and custom is a sin. What would we parents explain to our children, about Nehrus these habits, to edify him and follow on the path?
He is a chain smoker, which may inspire young children to follow, which Non of Indian parents may want to. Would you think, we parents want our children to copy and become like him...?
Mr. Nehru is known for his history of adultery, due to his intimacy with a number of ladies in India and abroad.
Nehru has become the prime minister of our country by overruling the cabinet-ranked senior congress leader's verdict which has chosen Mr. Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel with 13 votes in favor, with only 2 votes in favor of Jawaharlal Nehru. This incident will inspire our children and future generations to disobey and may motivate them to remain adamant even when you are not right or eligible. Mahatma Gandhi succumbed to the illegal emotional and confidential pressure created by Nehru which forced Mr. Gandhi to request Sardar Patel to clear the way for Nehru which Shri Patel accepted.
I hereby humbly suggest, request to take this matter under top priority and consider a personality from Indian history who could be replaced our first PM. As of now, my personal suggestion cannot think anything beyond Late Shri APJ Abdul Kalam.
Truly, there cannot be any better option than Mr. APJ Abdul Kalam who really remained darling to all sections of the society including children, till his last breath.
Mr. APJ Abdul Kalam's most favorite profession was teaching and the same suits ideally the best to inspire the children.
The simplicity of Mr. APJ Abdul Kalam in spite of his towering personality makes him the strongest option without any debates.
The genius he was and his achievements and contributions in the field of science which helped our Nation to stand tall among the world superpowers rest every argument if at all any arise.
I conclude with a prayer not to drag any politics into it. It is a matter which has a great impact on our children, which unlike previously, now they have complete access to the internet and they cannot be kept away from the facts as no more they are in dark from every actual fact about every personality as it uses to be during our childhood times.
