Covid days Priorities A Poem

Below is a poem I wrote when a section of politicians objected to India's moving ahead with the program of building the Shri Ram temple at Ayodhya amid the Corona Crisis.

Every Indian are busy

Amid these days of Covid

Army busy defending the Nation, 

at the borders always on their feet. 

and the farmers for our ration-

during rains and summer heat.

Scientists busy with their passion-

to invent the vaccine, Covid to beat.

Nurses and doctors are busy to treat-

and the police on the street. 

Teachers are busy online

Struggling with their students

and labourers on their respective lines 

to meet their end. 

Infrastructure getting its pace

Utilizing the trafficless roads

and corporate trying to restore its pace

after few months with no business accords

Construction of culverts and bridges-

Going on full fledged than ever before,

Every one working from the edge-

to bring, life back to its shore. 

Shri Ram temple why we can't  start

For the one who reside in our heart.

The day we reached not like 'dart', 

But 500 years of journey on a cart. 

Updated the poem today from the earlier one written two days ago which is written below.

Every Indian are busy

and corporate their's,

Pharma manufacturing medicines,

and farmers, busy with the weather. 

Nurses and doctors are busy treating, 

And the police on the street. 

Construction of Bridges and culverts-

Going on full-fledged than ever before,

Covid warriors are appreciated, 

With showering flowers, we greet.

Shri Ram temple why we could start

For the one who resides in our heart.

The day we reached not like 'dart', 

But 500 years of journey on a cart
