Ahmed Patel The Last Pillar of Congress

The last journey of one of the Pillar of Congress party... The vaccum that he leave behind will be very hard to fill for the Congress in Gujarat as well as in India. 

Yes, it is a sad news for the Indian politics as the last Pillar of Congress has fallen. He was one of the last leader who has the quality of a leader in real sense after Pranab Mukherjee. He was successfully controlling not only the Congress's immediate affairs, but he was the most close and reliable person of Sonia Gandhi. Let us try to analyse why Ahmed Patel was important to the Congress. One of the reason is Late Ahmad Patel was right hand of Sonia Gandhi. He was like most confidential and reliable person of Gandhi family.

It is believed that he was owner of most of the madrasaas in India and his family members are VC of Deoband institutions. His cousins run chain of madarsas. He and Farooq Abdullah share family relations. He had links in Kerala. He was  gateway of Arab money to India.

He controlled entire media chain and is believed that he is one of the reasons for the removing of Arnab Goswamy from the Times Now. Ahmed Patel had placed his own men in almost every India media Channels. There are fleet of corporate cadres under his influence and many NGO runners. He was  the one who backtracked three orders when RAW had got Dawood. From Samjhauta, Ajmer to Mumbai blast, he managed everything from media narrative to Home ministry.

He had played a huge role in recruiting everyone between 2004-2014 from judiciary, secretary to media editors. One can easily imagine the power that Ahmed Patel possessed due to which he successfully managed to put the then sitting Home Minister Amit Shah behind the bars for more than 4 months and his entire state intelligence team for 8 years led by DIG Vanzara. He was so powerful that he grilled the then sitting CM Narendra Modi for 13 hours. 

It is widely believed that he was the man behind Augusta Westland to Spectrum. Sonia Gandhi favoured Ahmad Patel more than Rahul Gandhi for many reason obviously due to the fact that he know to plan and execute his power even under extreme situations. 

Even when he was not in power, he had reflected his sheer leadership qualities when he managed to disqualify 2 MLA's Votes by approaching EC to assure that he wins his Rajya Sabha seat even though he was one vote short when actual required votes was 45 when was had the support of only 44. He went to EC and managed to convince EC which resulted in disqualification of 2 votes within hours even though the video shows no malpractice has taken place. Despite the presence of NDA cabinet ministers Ahmed Patel made sure EC make him winner though he made moves within the democratic parameters. 

With the passing away of Ahmed Patel, no doubt the vaccum has really become huge to contain for both who are demoralized who forsee a bleek future of Congress and those who are suffocating to move against high command.
