Journalist Rajkumar Keswani who alerted Bhopal Gas tragedy's possibility succumbed to Covid
Journalist Mr. Rajkumar Keswani who had written a detailed article during the 1980s on Bhopal gas tragedy (4 years before the actual tragedy took place) on the possibility of the tragedy due to gas leak from Carbide factory which was located within city premises at Bhopal, succumbed to Covid on 21st May 2021.
Neither he nor his article received any due respect then, and the public, media, and the government ignored it till the time the tragedy really happened.
After the disastrous Bhopal gas tragedy which happened during 1984 due to the leak of Methane Iso Cyanide (MIG), 4 years later from the date of his ignored article, Govt awarded him with the prestigious BD Goenka award.
