Decentralizing of Polling booths A revolutionary suggestion.

The election of May 2019 is ogling on India and its political parties. All are desperate to prove their heart towards Indian citizens so as to win the hearts of each one of them.

One thing is important as an Indian we must make sure that the election and its result must truly reveal the Indian majority's intentions and interests and it must not be left at the mercy of the situation. In order to bring the election more transparent, practical, and more accountable we must bring in a revolutionary change in the electoral system as suggested below which if considered would help India choose the right candidate at the booth and at the national level.

Without elaborating I would like to suggest that the Indian government must introduce either a digital electronic voter Id or the Aadhar card must be used as the identity to vote. The digital voter id must be in the line of an ATM card and then the polling booths across the nation must be decentralized national wide. This will facilitate polling percentage somewhere near 95% if not more.

The government must design a website, highly secured website which must be uploaded with each and every data of Indian citizens. The voter id must be linked with the Aadhar card on top priority and on the polling day, the votes must be cast through this website at the polling booth itself( not from their personal computers at home). Just by providing the Aadhar card, the name of the voter along with the state, district, city, and the ward will be displayed in a split second with his photograph on the screen. Then the polling officers can identify the person physically through photographs than through finger verification, the voter can cast their respective votes anywhere in India or on earth ( we need to plan a little different method for the NRI abroad).

For example, a Bihari at Mumbai can vote at the Mumbai Bandra polling booth and the vote will automatically go to the respective ward and the candidate where his voter id is enrolled. For ease and clarity, I would like to brief that, If a voter of Rai Barelli, Varanasi, or Amethi is out of the station at some other city, when he enters the local nearest polling booth where he is employed or stationed, the electronic voter id or the Aadhar card will automatically reveal on the screen the candidates, their respective symbols including the ward where the voter belongs and when the voter cast their vote it may automatically go to the same ward and candidate where he is enrolled his voter id. 

The above method would be a revolutionary one and it would save a lot of expenses and time for those patriotic Indians who don't want to miss the ballot opportunity and would encourage the lazy lots who eschew casting their votes to avoid traveling as well as it may be a big boon for those poor voters who wish to vote but their financial condition keeps them away from voting if they are away from their hometown.

I further suggest each and every NRI who is away from India must be allowed to vote too through the same website wherein they could be provided with a password to access the website which would be authenticated through their Aadhar card fingerprints scan to cast their vote. The system to scan their finger to authenticate the same could be easily implemented through software and the system would be like the vote will fall into their respective ward automatically once they enter their voter id and Aadhar card credentials along with passport details as it may be planned needfully. A one-time OTP to their International mobile number as well as verified email id also can be used to bring in more authenticity.

This will make the voting percentage all-time high which will become the decisive factor to choose the right and deserving candidate on the Job to lead our Cities, States, and Nation because the problem of the nation is not selecting the right candidates, but the voters away from home are unable to cast their vote for various reasons.
